The Trans Teen and Family Narratives Project is a community-based research study funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH). We are conducting this study to understand more about the experiences of transgender teens, age 13-17 years, and their families. Participants in the first phase of this study will complete a survey and audio-recorded interview about family relationships, stress, social support, and transgender teens’ health and health behaviors.  Participants in subsequent phases will help develop and test a toolkit for families with trans youth. If you have questions about the details of the study, please see our FAQ page.
